Established in 1968, Trisula Corporation has grown steadily to become a major manufacturer of garments for the national, regional and international market. In 1985 Trisula scored a major victory with the friendly acquisition of PT Southern Cross Textile Industry, its main competitor. By 1988 exports accounted for 50% of total production. In the last few years Trisula has once again focused on developing its export markets by integrating downstream into garment manufacturing. By 1999, the company's export ratio had reached 77%. Today, Trisula Corporation has emerged as one of the most competitive textile and garment manufacturers in the world.
