Jakarta, March 1, 2021 – In response to the very challenging situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2021, PT Trisula International Tbk (“TRIS”) has continued its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program at several hospitals and community health centers in the Jabodetabek area.

This time, TRIS donated medical needs in the form of emergency beds for 3 hospitals, namely Atma Jaya Hospital, UKRIDA Hospital, and the SehatQ community health center. The donation was delivered symbolically on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the TRIS head office, Trisula Center, Jakarta and was attended by the President Director of TRIS, Santoso Widjojo and representatives of donation recipients.

The emergency bed donated was the result of a cooperation between TRIS and PT Chitose C-Engineering Indonesia (“CCI”). CCI itself is an affiliated company of TRIS famous for its healthy mattress brand, C-PRO. The emergency beds that are also known as the origami bed is made of environmentally friendly corrugated carton material combined with a washable C-PRO healthy mattress.

The donation made by TRIS is done out of concern as a way to participate in the efforts to tackle Covid-19 pandemic. Santoso Widjojo as President Director of TRIS said, “With the high demand for isolation facilities, we took the initiative to donate emergency beds. TRIS bought as many as 20 units of emergency beds to donate to hospitals in need. The implementation of this CSR program is carried out symbolically at the Trisula Center.”

On the other hand, TRIS and its subsidiary, PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (“BELL”), will continue to provide the best performance by making quality products. It is known that TRIS and BELL has expertise in customized orders, allowing them to make product according to the requirements, including during the Covid-19 pandemic. The company diversifies its products such as into hazmat suits that have received distribution permits from the Ministry of Health, non-medical masks, and other medical garment. In addition, through it’s subsidiary BELL, TRIS has also adapted with the Covid-19 pandemic by producing Healthy Fabrics, which are currently being ordered by garment entrepreneurs and designers. Furthermore, BELL also made a Healthy Jacket as additional protective clothing.
