This year TRIS will continue to focus on the garment sector with its existing core business, both the export and domestic sectors. On the other hand, we will also continue to develop quality products,”
The products that contributed the most to TRIS sales were garment exports by 60%. Currently we continue to focus on reaching key markets, namely the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan, since opportunities from these countries are quite large. This can be seen from TRIS products, which have many enthusiasts and are also included in essential products, so even though TRIS is in a pandemic conditions, it can still continue to produce.
This is in line with the prediction from Bank Indonesia1) that in 2022 the Indonesian economy will grow by 4.7% to 5.5% which is also driven by the continued improvement in the global economy which has an impact on export performance which remains strong.
Seeing the opportunity with the start of the global economic recovery that is growing in a better direction, TRIS will boost its performance to strengthen the garment sector. TRIS garment products are produced through its subsidiaries, namely PT Trisco Tailored Apparel Manufacturing and PT Trimas Sarana Garment Industry. The products that are the mainstay and as the largest contributor to TRIS are formal and informal garments, functional clothing, and protective wear.
Another strategy implemented this year, TRIS is also developing new products and new business models to serve market needs. One project that is being developed and well received by the market is madeto-order garment. In this project, TRIS is required to be flexible in planning production and procurement. In addition, TRIS will continue to develop and actively carry out marketing strategies through various digital platforms including Trisula Group’s E-Commerce, namely Yukshopping.com.
“Seeing the growth of the National economy which is growing in a better direction, TRIS is optimistic that it can improve its good performance this year. TRIS will also continue to establish an integrated work system, as well as synergize every business process to optimize our performance,” Santoso concluded.
