PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL) has successfully sustained its business momentum over the past 56 years. While many textile companies struggle to stay afloat, BELL has managed to thrive through steadfast commitment and continuous innovation.
Founded in 1968 under the Trisula Group, BELL has grown into a respected issuer in the textile industry, offering fabrics, uniforms, and fashion products, and is well known for its premium brands such as Bellini and Caterina.
From the beginning, BELL has remained committed to its mission of delivering the best products and services, with a strong focus on uniforms and fashion through sustainable practices. The textile industry has recently faced significant challenges, including fierce competition from low-cost imports and global economic volatility, causing many companies to fold.
“BELL has successfully grown and sustained itself for 56 years by adapting to ever-changing market dynamics while remaining consistent in our commitment to quality and sustainability,” said Karsongno Wongso Djaja, President Director of BELL, as quoted by swa.co.id on Tuesday (September 17, 2024).
BELL’s success is driven by the strategic use of high-tech machinery, ensuring consistent quality and efficient production processes. The company’s product range — mainly uniforms and garments — is distinguished by innovative features such as stretch fabrics, water resistance, and flame-retardant properties, which not only set BELL apart but also address the specific needs of its customers.
BELL’s strength lies not only in its production capabilities but also in its robust presence in the domestic market. The company operates through 6 distributors, 123 stores across nearly all provinces in Indonesia, and its flagship retail brands JOBB and Jack Nicklaus. As of now, JOBB operates 132 points of sale (POS), while Jack Nicklaus runs 51 POS.
To further strengthen its retail footprint, BELL plans to add 10 more POS by the end of 2024. The company also recently inaugurated a new factory, PT Trimas Bellindo Aparel Manufaktur, located in Solo, Central Java. This facility, which began commercial operations in Q2 2024, focuses on ready-to-wear garment production with an annual capacity of approximately 500,000 units.
On the financial side, BELL recorded impressive performance in the first half of this year. Sales surged by 18%, rising from IDR 237 billion to IDR 281 billion, while net profit increased to IDR 10 billion.
Buoyed by this positive momentum, BELL is optimistic about reaching its 15% sales growth target for 2024. Looking ahead, the company remains focused on strengthening its core pillars: innovation, quality, and market expansion, to meet the ongoing challenges in the textile sector.
BELL’s adaptability and resilience underscore its position as a leading player in Indonesia’s textile industry. The company continues to thrive and was recently honored with the Indonesia’s Greatest Living Legend Companies Award – Gold Category, a recognition of its enduring success.
